The StirredUp research skill lets you research brands and industries as a structured investigation across six dimensions: founder story and origins, financial profile, competitive differentiation, sustainability record, controversies and accountability, and labor practices. It draws on a defined source hierarchy — primary documents and regulatory filings first, investigative journalism and watchdog data next, company PR treated as advocacy rather than fact — so every brief is traceable and defensible, not a surface-level summary.
The output is a polished, self-contained visual report used by the hosts of Stirred Up. It includes inline financial charts where the data supports them, scannable "The Take" callouts that surface the systemic angle, and a closing set of concrete episode angles and named expert leads to pursue. Every claim is sourced.

How to use Claude skills: Claude.ai skills are uploaded via Settings > Customize > Skills in the browser or desktop app. You may need to enable code execution, upload the zip, and the skill will triggers automatically when when typing /stirredup-research or when asking Claude to research a company.
ChatGPT: Skills are available in beta in ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, Edu, Teachers, and Healthcare plans, plus Codex and the API. Notably not on the individual Plus tier yet. You should use the Projects/Custom GPT fallback below.

If you use personal ChatGPT Plus (no Skills feature), the closest equivalent is a Project or a Custom GPT, both of which take instructions and files. The same SKILL.md content works as the instruction set. Simply paste the markdown body into the Project's custom instructions or the Custom GPT's configuration.
